Complex contours, precise interior cutouts with fine details in wood, plastic, metal, Plexiglas, or plaster – a scroll saw is a must-have for hobbyists and model makers. The DECO-XLS from scheppach boasts a large work light, a flexible blower nozzle, and a variable stroke rate that can be conveniently controlled with the wide foot switch, leaving both hands free for the workpiece.

  • Solid base for a stable stand
  • Cutting height/depth: 50 / 406 mm
  • Aluminum work table adjustable up to +45°
  • Variable stroke rate 500 – 1700 min -1 and 12 mm stroke height
  • Flexible and large LED work lamp for large-area illumination of the work area
  • Accommodates pin saw blades and standard fretsaw blades with a length of 127 mm
  • Quick-release lever for easy saw blade changes
  • Workpiece hold-down device for easier guidance of the workpiece when sawing cutouts
  • Low vibration for optimal and precise sawing results
  • Flexible blower nozzle for a clear view of the work area
  • Two-handed guidance of the workpiece by controlling the machine operation via a wide foot switch

The scheppach DECO-XLS scroll saw is the perfect choice for millimeter-precise wood cutouts and fine contours. The thin saw blade can be precisely maneuvered through the workpiece. Thanks to its maneuverability, even fine and rounded shapes can be achieved. With 1,700 revolutions per minute, the DECO-XLS is at the top end of the scroll saw range and operates comparatively faster than other models.

The saw blade holder allows for clamping of saw blades with or without pins, with a saw blade length of 127 mm. A circular saw blade can also be used. A quick-clamping system facilitates saw blade replacement. The maximum cutting height is 50 mm and the maximum cutting depth is 406 mm.

With both hands on the workpiece and a little practice, guiding the workpiece becomes child's play. The foot switch operates the saw blade and regulates the speed. By applying more or less pressure to the foot pedal, the stroke rate can be varied from 500 to 1700 rpm  for better results and greater safety.

The angle gauge allows for precise adjustment of the table tilt. Tilts up to 45° are possible. This allows for not only straight and circular cuts in wood, plastic, metal, plaster, or Plexiglas, but also custom angles. The workpiece clamp ensures easier and safe guidance of the workpiece, even when tilted.

An LED work lamp with a flexible gooseneck always optimally illuminates the work area.

With a shorter stroke, i.e., slower cuts, visibility can be obscured by chips that aren't completely removed from the cutting surface. This is where the blower comes in – a flexible blower nozzle ensures a clear view of the work area at all times, as chips and dust are immediately removed as they occur.
